  • In all likelihood, you know coping strategies for managing your anxiety and regulating your emotions. We can practise those and learn some more skills together. However, my focus tends to be more on exploring the underlying emotions and patterns behind your anxiety. It is then that you may begin to understand where the anxiety comes from and what may trigger it. 

    A big roadblock many of us have is that we chastise ourselves for negative feelings — like anxiety and overwhelm — rather than getting curious about them. Together, we can practise this mindset of self-curiosity and see whether there is anything helpful the anxiety may be telling you (or if the anxiety is simply being activated out of past habit).
