Diem Morriswala, M.Ed. (he/they)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hey! Diem here. Part of being a therapist is navigating self-disclosure — what to share and what to keep to myself. That makes “About” pages a little tricky; nevertheless, I do find value in sharing a bit about myself and my experiences.

I am a queer South Asian transman who just so happens to be a therapist. I have always been drawn to psychology, music, and queer studies because these subjects provide insight into what unites us as human beings and why we are the way we are. As a psychotherapist, I aim to help people find their voices, express themselves, and live by the values that give their lives meaning.

Outside of therapy, being creative gives my life meaning. I act on stage in my spare time, and I engage with music however possible, whether it be listening to it, writing it, or producing it. And of course, I also enjoy the simple stuff: time with family and friends, good food, and beautiful scenery.
