Therapy for Self-Curiosity
When life gets hard, our mental well-being is often the first sacrifice we make. As a result, we can become strangers, or even enemies, with our inner world. Our thoughts overwhelm us, our emotions feel like they bubble up out of nowhere, and our lives feel stagnant, even when we are doing all the things we are supposed to be doing.
In short, you probably feel stuck right now.
Seeking therapy is a powerful first step to reconnecting with yourself. It indicates self-curiosity, a desire to explore your inner world and discover more about who you are and what you value. I aim to create a non-judgmental and thoughtful space that harnesses and develops that self-curiosity to identify the stories you tell yourself about your life. Together, we can connect those stories to how you live your life — including how you handle your relationships, career, and self-expression.
I provide online therapy for adults and adolescents (13+) across Ontario navigating self-discovery, relationship issues (including ENM/poly dynamics), anxiety, perfectionism, and trauma.
Who I Work With
I draw a lot of LGBTQ2S+ folks, but the real uniting factor among the humans I see is curiosity about themselves and the world… and a receptiveness to my sense of humour. Humour can be a bridge between feeling threatened by an emotion and getting curious about it.
Why I Am Here
I know how hard it can be to find support from someone who understands you. Part of what motivated me to become a therapist was seeing how few therapists looked like me.
I won’t claim to know your lived experience because each of us has led very different lives, but I do promise to see you as a whole human being.
It’s time to give yourself the same time and compassion you give others.
Reconnecting with your inner world can be arduous work, but you do not have to go through it alone. Whether you are having issues in your relationships, struggling with anxiety, in the process of figuring out your LGBTQ2S+ identity, or juggling all of the above, I would be honoured to sit with you and support you as you get curious about yourself and your values.
If you think we could be a good fit, feel free to book a free, no-obligation, 15-minute consultation call. I would love to meet you, hear your story, and answer any questions you may have.
