You as a creative, artist, and/or performer likely face specific challenges due to the inherent vulnerability of your work. As a creative myself, I understand the physical and emotional labour that can be involved in creating a piece of art, as well as the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that can make putting yourself out there difficult. I aim to co-create a space with you that promotes emotional exploration and helps you work through barriers that may be impacting your work.
While I am not a music or art therapist, I do incorporate music and art interventions into my work. As such, we can do a combination of talk therapy and artistic interventions, or strictly talk therapy interventions — whichever best suits your own therapeutic goals.
